Week of May 24, 2004- Happy Memorial Day!!

A special good-bye to Coach Owen who will be leaving OBX Swim Club. His last day at practice will be Tuesday, May 25. We will miss him!!!!

Congratulations to senior swimmer, Henry Roach, who ran the Nags Head 5K in 27:00 on May 8. Great job!!

Developmental, Junior Prep, Junior, Junior Elite, Senior- It looks like this is our last week of official winter swimming. It certainly feels like summer is here after this past weekend!! (Last day of practice Thursday, May 27)

Summer League “Waves” practice begins Monday, June 7.

Practice will be held in the evenings in 2 sessions during this last week of school- June 7-12 . 10 and Unders will practice from 6-7:00 PM . 11 and older swimmers swim from 7:00-8:00PM- Mon-Thursday evenings.

The USA early practice will begin in the morning for those older swimmers (Junior Elite and Senior) designated by Coach Laura the week of June 15 at 6:30AM to 8:00 am MTTH.

Upcoming changes and events:

Thursday, May 27- Last day regular winter season practice.

Monday, June 7- First day of summer league practice-6-7PM- 10 and unders, 7-8PM- 11 and older swimmers. USA morning swimmers may attend this week during the evening.


Monday, June 15- First morning practice for USA Junior Elite and Senior 6:30AM-8:00AM indoor pool.
