Quite a few things to update in this post.

Summer is here and our Summer Swim season kicks off on Tuesday, May 30th. There are some exciting changes that Coach Craig has in store... so we look forward to seeing everyone on deck.
Summer Swimming @ YMCA begins on Tuesday May 30 and runs through July 28, 2006. All participants must be members of the Outer Banks Family YMCA.
Summer Swimming @ OBHRC (Outer Banks Health & Racquet Club) begins on June 12 and runs through July 28, 2006 and is open to all. The Outer Banks Health and Racquet Club is located six miles north of the bridge in Currituck County within the Kilmarlic community.
New practice schedule will begin on Tuesday, May 30th due to the YMCA closing on Monday for Memorial Day. Sorry for the short notice, we just found out last night!
New Summer Practice Schedule will begin on Tuesday, May 30th – Friday, July 28th
Age 8 & under / MWF 5:00-6:00 p.m.
Age 9-10 / MWF 5:00-6:00 p.m. / & T TH 3:30-4:30 p.m.
Age 11 & older / MWF 6:00-8:00 p.m. / & T TH 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Also, details for the High Point Travel Meet are posted on the bulletin board at the Y. Craig needs your commitment by Friday of this week in order to secure transportation, hotel accommodations and meet entries.

The Outer Banks Swim Club is now offering a Summer Swim Program to be held at the beautiful Outer Banks Health and Racquet Club outdoor pool (next to Kilmarlic Golf and Country Club) in Currituck County.
The program is open to all swimmers between the age of 5 - 18 and offers competitive swimming and fun. Practice begins on June 12th and ends on July 28th. Members of Outer Banks Health & Racquet Club receive a $25 discount on program fees.
Craig had an issue arise where he will need to be gone on Thursday afternoon, so all Thursday, May 18th practice sessions will be cancelled. He will return early on Sunday, May21st and run a practice for all groups on Sunday afternoon:

Junior, Jr. Elite, & Senior 3:30 – 5:30

Where: Nags Head Bowling Alley

Time: 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
Cost: $5.00 (includes pizza, drink, shoes and bowling)
Please come join the OBX SWim Club for a fun night of bowling. There will be no regular practice on this day so why not everyone come join your teammates for pizza and bowling. Please email Michele Godsey at rmkgodsey@aol.com or sign up on the bulletin board at the Y.
Congratulations to Sharon Pendleton who became the latest OBX Swim Club volunteer to become certified as a Stroke and Turn official!
