Mark your calendars!

Swim-a-Thon

The 2007 Swim-a-Thon will be from 5-7 PM on Wednesday, October 3rd. Swimmers have a 2-hr period in which to swim towards their goal of 100 or 200 lengths. The Silent Auction will follow the Swim-a-Thon and this year swimmers can enjoy a Pizza Party after swimming! Announcements regarding the Swim-a-Thon will be posted on the sidebar to the left.  A Fundraising committee meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 29th at 6:30 PM at the Y.

The Swim-a-Thon & Silent Auction are the major fundraising activities of our club. We need all parents and swimmers to participate. Last year the OBX Swim Club was in the top 50 clubs in the USA for average money collected per swimmer. Jacquelyn Moore was our top fundraising swimmer and made the top 50 in the USA, too. Read the FAQ under Announcements for information about Swim-a-Thons.
