Weekly Update

These are the updates for the week of September 10 - 16, 2007

--  We are on regular practice schedule for all groups for the week.

--  That Tropical Storm Gabrielle is going to be moving through our area tonight and tomorrow.  Hold on to anything you can because a lot of wind is coming our way.  Check the website tomorrow to see if we have practice.

--  TEAM EQUIPMENT ORDERS!!!! Sizing kits will be available for the next two weeks for any swimmers that need resized for suits or need to get new things.  If you forgot anything last year or need to replace equipment, get those orders in soon.  Also; team practice suits are highly recommended for all swimmers.

--  A couple of reminders for all kids:

1.  Seniors:  Bring journals to practice every Wednesday for review from coach Craig

2.  All kids:  Make it a habit to bring your swim-a-thon envelopes every Wed. so coach Craig can mark down your progress for the next couple of weeks.  Remember the winners of each week are getting a prize!!!

3.  All kids:  The sign-up sheet(s) for our 1st meet(s) on October 13 - 14, 2007 and October 20, 2007 are posted on the bulletin board at the YMCA.  The SEVA meet on October 13 - 14 is open to all swimmers and the ODAC meet on October 20 is open to all 8&U's.  Please make the proper entries.  The deadline for entries is September 30, 2007.  Please don't be late

4.  All kids:  The sign-up sheet for team PAINTBALL DAY is due at the end of September.  Please have the sign-up sheet and all waivers signed and returned to Coach Craig ASAP so he has a definite head count.

5.  All kids & parents:  The team pictures are scheduled for September 19, 2007 at 5:30PM.  You need to be there at 5:15PM with the black team T-shirt and khakis shorts or pants.  Seniors will have a short practice before they have to be at the beach.  There is no horse playing before the pictures.  NO HORSE PLAYING!!!!!!!!!

--  So far the practices have been going outstanding.  Great job to all swimmers that have started to change things with your strokes, techniques, and attitudes.  We are off to one great short course season.  Keep up the great work, and soon the rewards will be reaped.

These are the updates for the week.  If there are any other questions, please e-mail coach Craig @ craig.bialorucki@gmail.com.
