Championship Hotel info and details

OBX Swim Club has a block of 15 rooms at the Omni, Newport News for the District Championship Meet , February 15-17 (formerly known as B/C Champs) at a rate of $89 per night.  The block will be in the Omni's reservation system by Monday, January 21st and will expire on January 31st - please contact the hotel and make your individual reservations.  Let them know you are with OBX Swim Club in order to receive the block rate.

A Pizza Party is planned for Saturday night, February 16th at the Omni in the bistro area upstairs, adjacent to the lobby, reserved from 5-9 p.m.
Cost: $13 per person which includes tax & gratuity (Ages 3 & under eat free).  Menu: assorted pizzas, salad, and soft drinks.
RSVP:Please make your check payable to: Deb Keenan and return to the swim team mailbox by January 31st in an envelope marked Pizza Party. Deb needs to provide a head count and a deposit to the Omni.

A special thanks to Sarah Gates for offering to bring a cake for dessert so everyone can celebrate Morgan's birthday on Saturday night!

A Note about other upcoming Championship Meets:

Regional Champs (A/BB achieved times) is scheduled for February 22-24 at Midtown Aquatics Center in Newport News.  We do not have a number of swimmers attending that is large enough to reserve a block of rooms.

Senior Champs is held at UVA, March 6-9 (AA 15-16 times) and Age Group Champs is held at GMU Manassas, March 13-16 (A+ times).
