Weekly Update

These are the messages for the week of January 28 - February 3, 2008.

All practice groups will be on regular practice schedules with (1) changes:

1.  There will be NO practice for all swimmers on Saturday due to the ODAC 14 and under meet.

--  All entries for the upcoming ODAC Age Group Meet, February 3-4, 2008 have been posted.

-- Results from WAC Senior Meet, January 19-20, 2008.

--  The YMCA porpoise club has offered their time and swimmers to swim against some of our 12 and unders.  Coach Craig will have a sign-up sheet for all swimmers that are eligible to swim hanging up at the YMCA on Monday, and all children wanting to swim will have to be signed up by Wednesday Feb.6, 2008.  The meet will be on Sunday, March 2, 2008 from 12:00 - 2:00PM with a pizza party after.

--  All swimmers that are eligible for B/C awards, A/BB champs, Senior Champs, & Age Group Champs need to be signed up ASAP.  There will be an up to date sign-up sheet up at the YMCA on Monday, and everyone needs to be signed up.

--  District Champs :  the meet has been changed from Ft Eustis to Midtown Aquatic Center.  If there are any questions, please e-mail or call Craig.

-- OBX SC Annual Banquet has been scheduled for Friday, April 4, 2008.  More details will follow soon.  Please provide any photos that you may have from the 2007-08 season to Henry Roach & Drew Keenan as they are putting together a slide show for the upcoming banquet.

--  Congratulations to all swimmers that made it to the North Carolina High School State Meet.  The meet is this coming Saturday Feb. 2, 2008.  If you see Drew Keenan, Rachel Miller or Tyler Daughtry or Arielle Pickrel,  please send them a good luck comment.
