Weekly Update

These are the messages for the week of March 10 - 16, 2008

We will be on regular practice schedule for the week until Thursday

There will be NO practice Thursday through Sunday due to the Age Group Champ meet being held at George Mason Pool in Mannassas Virginia.

Both Drew Keenan and Henry Roach attended Senior Champs this past weekend.  It was a complete success for Drew Keenan(16) as he broke 5:00 in the 500 Free going a time of 4:54.78 on Saturday.  Henry Roach(14) went his LTB in the 1000 Free on Sunday going a time of 10:42.79.  Congratulations to both swimmers on a spectacular meet.

OBX Swim Club has (3) three participants in the Virginia Age Group Championships this coming weekend: Henry Roach(14), Jon Roach(10) and Sarah Mandis(10); Entry Report -  Good Luck swimmers.

OBX Swim Club has (1) one participant this coming weekend in the Eastern Zone Speedo Swimming Championships (Sectionals): Drew Keenan(16) and he will be swimming the 800 Free and then the 200 Free as a bonus event.  Good Luck.

There will be a rough Long Course practice and meet schedule up on the website NO LATER THAN Wednesday.
