Weekly Update

These are the messages for the week of March 16 - 23, 2008

We will be on regular practice schedule for the week with 1 change

There will be NO practice on Saturday morning for any groups.

Age group qualifiers included Henry Roach, Sarah Mandis and Jon Roach.  These three children represented OBX Swim Club very well as we swam perfectly this weekend.  Some highlights included:

--  Henry Roach --  10:16.97 (1000Free), 5:01.1 (500Free), 17:22.21(1650Free)
--  Jon Roach --  1:17.12 (100I.M.), 35.8 (50Fly), 2:44.0 (200I.M.)
--  Sarah Mandis --  35.5 (50Fly), 1:20.6 (100Fly)

Sarah Mandis received her 1st ever AA time standard in the 100 Fly on Sunday. 

VA Swimming 2008 Short Course Age Group Championship Meet Results

Henry Roach was selected to represent OBX Swim Club on the Virginia Zone Team participating in Buffalo, NY on April 3 - 5, 2008.

Drew Keenan participated in the USA Swimming Speedo Champions Series meet this past weekend.  He swam and represented OBX Swim Club well, and swam with some of the fastest swimmers in the United States today.
